The main motivation for me as a carer is the chance to make a difference. And that is just what I will be doing when I work with you. I will become part of your incredible caring team, helping by delivering emotional and practical care and transforming your life daily.
I have worked in social care and supported living for many years. My experience spans across various care settings, including care of the elderly, care for those suffering from mental illness such as dementia/Alzheimer’s, depression, support with parenting, support with lonely people (companion) and support for those with learning disabilities.
My work within social care also extends to working with a youth offending team which involved working with families going through emotional turmoil. Another area of social care I have been active in, is my work with the homeless as a volunteer at a drop-in centers.
My drive and passion are to make a difference to the life of others. Sometimes it is the smallest things that make the biggest difference to people – so for me, nothing is too small or too insignificant to do for those in my care.
A bit about me…….
My global traveling has further enriched my passion for life, culture, and people, and I believe in cultural diversity being one of the ingredients that enrich life.
If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would say I am a friendly, warm, and smiley person. I enjoy learning about different things and hearing people’s life experiences and stories
