I have worked as a Care Assistant/support and live in care worker for over ten years .Everything that I do at work serves to fulfil the needs and wishes of the person I support.
I work in a person centred way and as part of a team that aims to help the person achieve
his goals in a risk assessed and safe way. My role involves administering medication, escorting
shopping , paying bills ,cooking ,driving personal care and sourcing community based opportunities.
I must also mention that I am comfortable making sometimes difficult decisions and taking ownership of and resolving issues.
