I am writing to apply for any live in care positions you have available.

My experience in the health sector includes working as a staff nurse in Newham Hospital as well as caring for children, the elderly and patients suffering from mental health issues, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and severe learning difficulties.

I am able to build a good rapport with a wide variety of people and am able to gain their trust through treating them in a friendly, confidential and respectful way. I am able to provide personal care and hygiene including oral care, bathing, dressing up, toileting, light housework, shopping, cooking and assistance with feeding, as well as prompting the taking of medication according to individual needs.

I am a flexible person and have worked unsociable hours including nights. I am organised, a good team worker, computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Health and Safety and other relevant policies and procedures.

I am confident that my experience provided me with the necessary skills, knowledge and know how to provide excellent care for the service user in the comfort of their own home.

I have a recent DBS and I am available to start immediately. Please find attached my CV for more information.
