Job Description

Please note that all of our live-in care worker opportunities are for candidates who have full right to work in the UK, as unfortunately Radis cannot issue visas or offer sponsorship

About the role

We are looking for male and female Self-Employed Live-in Care Workers to join our family.  Whether you're looking for ad hoc work to fit around current clients or a permanent placement, we can assist you!

If you're not ready to work yet but want to register with us for when you are ready, this is not a problem.  We have a large database of self-employed carers who are registered with us - some of whom have been with us for a considerable length of time.

Just some of the benefits of working with us: -

  • Excellent rates of pay
  • Weekly pay.
  • Free training (and we’ll give you your certificates!)
  • Dedicated Service Manager who knows you and your preferences.
  • Ongoing placements.
  • Free accommodation and meals provided whilst in placement – no bills!
  • Be treated like an equal – just because you’re self-employed, you are still a valued member of our team and will be treated the same as our employed staff.

The ideal Candidate:

If you are positive, caring, compassionate and genuinely want to make a difference in someone’s life, we want to hear from you!

In order to work with us, carers must be able to provide the following information/documentation:

  • Details of at least 3 referees (including details of how you know the person, their full name, phone number and email address)
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Online DBS
  • Up to date training certificates (further online training may be required)
  • Evidence of being registered self-employed
  • Evidence of public liability insurance.

Radis is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
