SALES SPECIALIST - HEALTHCARE

Our client, a reputable and caring senior living provider in the heart of the community, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Care Home Sales Representative to join their esteemed team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors, managing inquiries, liaising with families, and forging strong connections within the community and healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

Managing Enquiries: You will be responsible for promptly and professionally responding to all enquiries concerning our client's care home services. Providing comprehensive information about the facilities, services, and care options to potential residents and their families will be essential.

2.

Dealing with Families: With empathy, understanding, and patience, you will communicate with families seeking care for their loved ones. Addressing their concerns, answering questions, and guiding them through the process of selecting the most suitable care arrangements will be integral to this role.

3.

Networking into the Community: Proactively engaging with local community groups, organizations, and senior centres will be a key responsibility. Establishing strong relationships and partnerships will help raise awareness of our client's care home services and increase outreach to potential residents.

4.

Networking into Healthcare Contacts: Collaboration with healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, social workers, and discharge planners, will be vital. Ensuring that these professionals are well-informed about the high-quality care services provided by our client's care home will help facilitate referrals and admissions.

5.

Sales and Marketing: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to attract new residents and maintain high occupancy levels will be a core duty. Utilizing various marketing channels, such as digital media, print, and events, will help promote the care home within the local area.

Assessment and Consultation: The Care Home Sales Representative will conduct comprehensive assessments of potential residents' needs and preferences. Offering personalized consultations to families, outlining how our client's care home can cater to their loved ones' specific requirements, will be essential.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the healthcare, senior living, or transferable sectors such as hospitality, property and membership.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with families and healthcare professionals on a compassionate and professional level.

* Knowledge of the care home industry and an understanding of the needs and concerns of elderly individuals and their families valuable

* Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities to expand our client's presence within the community and healthcare sector.

* Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high standard of service and care.

* Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple inquiries and following up diligently.
