Job Description

Two weeks starting ASAP. Live in carer for 78 year old women who has just left hospital. She does NOT have dementia. She can walk with a frame but has just broken her leg so needs supervision. She is diabetic and needs insulin twice daily and pain killers. We are looking for someone to help her improve her walking. Lots of TLC. Cook for her as she has lost a lot of weight. She needs help with washing and getting dressed but is slowly being able to do this herself again. She has been in hospital so she needs lots of love and pampering.
 

She needs to be supervised walking to the loo. She does get up 3 times a night for the loo. She can get out of bed and transfer but needs help getting in and out. She has a modern house with disabled facilities. Lovely spare room for the carer. Nobody else living there. 
 

We are looking for a female carer who has had the first vaccine. Must have a COVID test. Must be able to cook. Must be able to show companionship and be able to communicate with my mother as she is very educated. Must be happy to get up in the night and make sure my mum is safe going to the loo. Must be happy to help with exercises. Must be happy to check mums blood sugar level and administer insulin.
