Starting from 2nd October 2021

Female Permanent Personal Care Assistant

Self Employed Personal Care Assistant required to join my Current Personal Care Assistant.  I am a wheelchair user requiring assistance with all daily matters.  The position is 24/7 supporting me with domiciliary care duties promoting my independence in my own home which is in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.  The shift Pattern would be 2 Weeks on / 2 Weeks off.  Please note applicant MUST be based in the UK.

Requirements:

• Self Employed or willing to become this.
• Hold a full clean UK driving licence.  My vehicle is automatic. 
• Non-smoker.
• Able to use a manual and an overhead hoist.
• Competent in urine & bowel care management (although training will be given).
• Nursing background would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Caring person by nature, with a calm personality to be understanding of the challenges faced with a physical disability.
• Understanding of Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus would be good.
• Able to work on your own initiative and following instructions.
• Be a good housekeeper with excellent organisational skills.
• Must have a Current DBS.
• UTR – Unique Tax Reference Number.
• NO PETS PLEASE.
• NVQ in Adult Social Care.
• £840.00 a week
