Job Description

Live-in carer needed for IMMEDIATE start this Saturday 12 Noon. To work up to 4 days per week, this must include 1 weekend day. (A Saturday *or* a Sunday.) 
Client's own home, Ashtead, Surrey. 
Rate of pay: £140 per 24 hour shift

I am looking for the right and special kind of carer who can help improve my quality of life with live-in care in my own home for up to 4 days per week. At the end of your shift, you will hand over to another carer. You will live here only on the days you are working. 

Are you between the age of 18 and 45? Ideally I am looking for someone young and energetic. 

Are you patient, kind and enjoy caring for people? 

Can you help improve my quality of life and reduce my pain? 

Can you be my companion, give emotional support as well as being a professional carer and remain calm and able to help during an epileptic seizure? 

I am in my 30's and in need of support in all aspects of daily life. The carer may also need to very occasionally assist me during the night. 

I am looking for someone who is very caring, has a good work ethic, is extremely reliable and hard working and can be flexible due to the nature of my illness. 

I have a range of serious health problems including epilepsy and chronic debilitating pain. 

The ideal carer will be well organised and a good listener. 

Your tasks will include: 
Looking after me when having a seizure 
Massaging my muscles every day, particularly when they spasm 
Keeping my room and the bathroom clean and tidy 
Cooking all of my meals and preparing snacks 
Helping me get dressed and washing my hair for me 
Helping me use the bathroom and emptying my commode 
Doing my washing and ironing 
Keeping a written record of all medication taken 
Occasional visits to the local shops 

I can only offer work to those with a clean CRB/DBS check and proof of right to live and work in the UK.
