Job Description

We are a family looking for a private carer to help look after our 93-year-old Grandad. We are looking for a caring, confident individual who is passionate about wanting to make a difference for the rest of his life.

This will either be a live-in position or if you are local to the S6 area and have your own form of transport, then a night shift would also work.

If you are a carer who has previous experience dealing with elderly patients in their own homes, you will be well suited to this role. We're looking for someone who can take a positive and assertive approach to support our Grandad professionally and in a way that you would care for your own family.

Your main responsibilities would include;

- Helping with night-time support; toileting assistance, providing drinks and food if needed, administering medication if needed, providing reassurance

Our grandad is very weak and now needs help to move, he has a weak heart and kidney problems and is also type 2 diabetic, so you may be required to assist with medication for these problems.
