Job Description

The placement is for a 35-year-old woman who lives in Brighton.

The placement is for part time usual pattern is 5-9 days or 9 to 16 days this is shared with a private carer / PA.

The client has brittle bone disease and is less than 3 feet in height; The client will require support in all areas of her care.

Kindness and Patience are essential.

The client volunteers some days during the week for 4 hours. The carer / PA is not expected to stay with the client while she is volunteering. You can take this as downtime. She also goes to choir practice a couple of evenings a week, and she will need to be driven to these. 

The Carer / PA is required to have a full UK or European driver’s license and be willing to drive the client's car. Her family will add you to her insurance. She has a VW caddy.

You will need to be confident in using a ceiling hoist and the client wears a V-Pad a night this is to help the client breathe overnight.

You will have a 24-hour over (paid) by her private carer for the first time.

Daily Rate is £140 plus £8 a day food allowance.
