Job Description

Hello, I'm a 32-year-old physically disabled woman looking to hire a new live in PA. The shifts are Sunday 9pm-Friday 2pm every other week.

I have a neuromuscular condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I have been using a power wheelchair since age 3. I use a hoist for all transfers. The role involves transferring, all personal care (maintaining high levels of hygiene is very important to me), light cooking and cleaning, assisting to/from my workplace via public transport 2 times per week and daily cough assist. I very rarely need overnight care.

About me:

I live in SE London with my husband. I work full-time for a large charity, primarily from home. We're a quiet and peaceful household and there is a lot of downtime in the role. Ideally, you will enjoy a quiet space too but you are able to take initiative for household tasks.

This is a relaxed role but you must be comfortable in an office/professional environment. You must also be comfortable travelling on public transport at busy times. You will need to be fluent in English as my condition slightly affects my speech, especially when tired.
