Live-in Neurodevelopmental Support Worker

Location: Various Locations within London
Shifts
: week-long shifts. Short-term (2 weeks on) and Long-term (4+ weeks on) live-in packages available (2-hour break daily)
Salary: £799.68- £846 .72 per week, plus a £56 food allowance (client-dependent), WIFI and transport costs included *with the ability to access a % of your earnings in just 4 days or less after completing shifts!*

We are looking for experienced Live-In Neurodevelopmental Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, learning disabilities and/or complex support needs. The role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, choice, wellbeing and meaningful community involvement.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Support Worker who is passionate about supporting adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, learning disabilities and complex support needs. You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred support while working closely with families, healthcare professionals and wider multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Providing personalised, person-centred support within the client’s home and community.
✅ Supporting clients with personal care, daily living, mobility, medication and household routines.
✅ Understanding and responding to individual communication, sensory, emotional and behavioural needs.
✅ Supporting clients to access social, recreational and community activities that promote independence and wellbeing.
✅ Building positive, trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
✅ Monitoring clients’ physical and emotional wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns.
✅ Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and wider support teams.
✅ Following care plans, policies, procedures, safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
✅ Maintaining accurate daily records and documentation.

Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Applicants must have unrestricted right to work in the UK (please note we are not offering sponsorship at this time).
✅ Experience supporting adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, learning disabilities, autism or complex support needs.
✅ Experience delivering person-centred care and supporting vulnerable adults.
✅ Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships.
✅ Understanding of communication, sensory and emotional needs.
✅ Ability to remain calm, patient and compassionate when supporting individuals who may experience anxiety, distress or changes in presentation.
✅ Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider care team.
✅ Good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, health & safety and care documentation.
✅ Reliable, flexible and emotionally resilient.
✅Full clean UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills:

✨ Level 2 or above qualification in Health & Social Care.
✨ Training or experience in autism, learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental conditions or complex care.
✨ Experience supporting individuals with behaviours that may challenge, communication difficulties or sensory needs.
