Job Description

We are looking for Live In Care staff to work in Cardiff; Barry; Llanelli and Bridgend 
To support service users with all aspects of their Daily Living, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life. Providing live in care and support can be both a challenging and rewarding experience. You will stay in the service users home. There will be pre-arranged breaks during times when the service user does not need your services.

This is generally in the afternoons. Good communication skills; Compassion and a caring nature are essential for these roles within our company. 

To provide safe ,reliable care and support that is person centred on the individuals needs and choices. This involves respecting each service users choices and promoting their independence at all time. Care staff will need to build positive relationships with the service user, family and other health and social care professional who may be involved in their care.

As you will be staying in the service users home you will need to follow their home rules and be mindful of their need for privacy. It is essential for you as the main carer to report any changes or concerns to your manager promptly. You will need to be clear about when to seek help and advice in order to keep the service user safe, whilst promoting their independence and well being. 01554750776
