Job Description

80 year old Indian lady with left side weakness following a stroke requires a live in carer. Mobilises independently but requires a wheel chair outside the home. Minimal personal care involved and is generally independent. Meal preparation required, carer is welcome to eat meals prepared or basic food can be provided.

Ideally the candidate will have a current passport and be willing to travel abroad when required, this is not mandatory but is desired.

This is a very intelligent lady and she will schedule the days activities and domestic needs.

Must be competent and have proof of medication administering in a home setting. Previous care experience is a must. Must be DBS cleared, ideally on update service. Minimum of NVQ/Diploma level 2 in Health and Social Care. Candidate must be a driver with a clean driving licence and be able to use their own vehicle for social outings. Parking is provided on site.

This is a lovely home based in Sheerness and includes rest time you can spend in the balcony overlooking great views and use of private pool. Rest times to be discussed at interview. Home comes with WIFI and TV in private carers bedroom (included).
