Live in Carer, Rapid Response Team

Are you ready to take a step up in your career as a Rapid Response Live in carer? This exciting role is to support our client’s transition from hospital to home and we are recruiting teams now.

Active Assistance support adults and children & young people with a variety of physical disabilities and complex conditions; for example, spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease.

The purpose of the role is to transition Clients to home and deliver an excellent standard of care for Clients, promoting independence within varied environments such as home, education, work and social settings.

About Us

Active Assistance, part of the Active Care Group, offers person-centred care in the home, either through live in or live out care packages to adults, children and younger people with a wide range of complex health conditions.

Active Assistance place people at the heart of the services we offer and design packages of care around their care needs and personal preferences. This means we are able to support a care team on a ‘live in’ or ‘live out’ basis.

Rapid Response Care Assistant Profile

You will be confident, experienced and, reliable and have the flexibility to support our clients discharge from hospital to home supporting them to live an independent life.

Duties will include personal care, domestic tasks and social activities. Every client is individual and therefore you will be willing to adapt to different lifestyles to ensure that the client you are working with can live an independent life.

Additional Skills and Information

  • Valid full driving licence and competent driving skills (own car not needed).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken), which includes being able to actively listen to and follow instructions from your client
  • All applicants will need to have proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK
