Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Live-in Carer/Personal Assistant to support a young disabled lady in her daily life.

This is a personal and human role, primarily based at a private residence in the UK, focused on supporting independence, comfort, and a good quality of life.

What the role is about

You will help with everyday life, including:

• Being a practical and social support at home

• Supporting relationships with family and friends

• Helping with outings, appointments and activities

• Supporting hobbies, interests and daily routines

• Providing personal care (washing, dressing, showering)

• Helping with meals, light household tasks and day-to-day organisation

From time to time, the role may include accompanying your employer on trips or travel, including occasional sailing periods.

About you

You don’t need formal caring qualifications. What matters most is:

• A willingness to learn and adapt

• A calm, kind and respectful attitude

• Flexibility and common sense

• A good sense of humour

• Comfort with close, hands-on support

Openness to occasional travel is appreciated.

Training and guidance will be provided. Past experience is helpful, but not essential.
