Job Description: Live-in Personal Care Assistant (Complex Care)

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, highly trained, and competent female Live-in Carer for a long-term position in Sandbach (CW11). You will provide comprehensive, complex care to a 40-year-old male client with a spinal cord injury. The client lives with his parents, works during the day, and receives visits from his wife. This role requires a proactive professional who balances clinical expertise with respectful companionship. You will maintain the client's independence, manage high-risk medical conditions, and support daily household operations.

Location: Sandbach, Cheshire 
Long-term, live-in 
Gender Requirement: Female
Food Allowance: £40 per week
Start Date: To be confirmed

Main Responsibility -

• Management Emergency Response: Monitor for and recognise symptoms of Autonomic Dysreflexia immediately.
• Moving & Handling: Execute safe rolling techniques in bed for pressure relief.
• Transfer Assistance: Competently operate a ceiling track hoist and shower chair.
• Meal Preparation
• Driving is required

Essential Criteria

• Gender: Female
• Licensing: Valid, clean UK driving licence 
• Certifications: Documented training in Autonomic Dysreflexia management.
• Experience: Proven track record in complex care, spinal cord injury support, and hoist transfers.
• Skills: Competency in invasive bowel management (suppositories and digital stimulation)
