Live-In Carer – Make Every Day Matter

At St Jude’s Care, our Live-In Carers provide more than care — they bring comfort, companionship and confidence to people living independently in their own homes across Weymouth and Salisbury.

We are looking for an experienced for a lovely client based in Wareham, Dorset

You need to be a Driver with clear communication and lots of patience. 

Our client has Asphasia, so she sturggle to talk. She is very mobiel and active. 

No hands on personal care 

Help with meals preparation 

She has full capacity

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Live-In Carer, you’ll provide dedicated one-to-one support tailored to each client’s needs, including:
🍽 Preparing home-cooked meals suited to dietary needs and preferences
☕ Providing companionship, reassurance and meaningful conversation
🏡 Helping with light household tasks to keep homes safe and comfortable
✨ Encouraging independence and supporting clients to stay involved in daily life

About You

We’re looking for people who take pride in helping others live happy, fulfilling lives at home.

You’ll need:
✔ A caring, person-centred approach
✔ Good communication skills and spoken English
✔ Confidence working independently in a client’s home
✔ Right to work in the UK
✔ Enhanced DBS or willingness to complete one
✔ 6+ months of live-in care experience
