Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Live-In Carer to support an adult client in their home in Peterborough. You will provide personalised care, emotional support and daily living assistance, ensuring the client is safe, comfortable and able to maintain independence within their own home.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carer looking for stable, ongoing work with a supportive agency.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Providing personal care (washing, dressing, continence care)

* Assisting with mobility and safe moving & handling

* Supporting with medication prompts or administration (as required and trained)

* Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition

* Light household duties and maintaining a clean environment

* Offering companionship and emotional support

* Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client’s condition

* Working closely with family members and professionals where needed

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 6 months recent care experience (live-in care preferred but not essential)

* Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities, complex needs, or elderly clients

* Full UK driving license

* Good written and spoken English

* A caring, patient, and professional attitude

* Ability to stay in the client’s home for rotational live-in blocks

* Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)

Requirements

* Full UK driving license

* Up-to-date mandatory training (we can assist with renewals if needed)

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* Valid photo ID and proof of address

* Moving & handling and medication training

* Flexibility to work live-in patterns
