Job Description

We are looking for an experienced live-in carer to assist our client in Kent, ideally from 27th December; however, some flexibility can be applied for a few days. 

The client is a falls risk having had two falls in the last 18 months, and has bowel cancer.  The client suffers from general fragility, occasional pain managed by medication, anxiety and low mood.  Client will need assistance when showering, some assistance with personal care and supervision when mobilising with the use of aids. 

In addition, the client enjoys a varied diet and will need encouragement for hydration.  Past times include reading, knitting and crossword puzzles.  The client has a helpful and supportive family.  The client's day starts around 8 am and retires around 9 pm; currently, there are no night calls.  There is no requirement to drive in the booking, and it is a non-smoking placement.  Breaks can be taken daily.

The client requires ongoing care, so further bookings will be available.  The recommended daily rate is £130.  If you would like to be considered for this position, please apply as soon as possible.
