Wife - requiring care

Leg ulcers on left leg, grade 3 pressure sore on heel 

Prone to UTIs

Recent hospitalisation with an infection & low sodium causing confusion 

Very prone to constipation 

Number of falls over the last year or two 

Previous hip replacements

Full assistance with personal care required

Uses commode

Application of creams & lotions

Dental hygiene 

Walks with a Rollator

Night calls - usually twice to use commode

Usually goes to bed around 9:30pm

Husband - self-caring

Was main carer for his wife

Mentally & physically active

Other duties included

• Cooking
• Shopping
• Housekeeping
• Laundry
• Collecting prescriptions
