Job Description

A second female live-in carer is sought for an 89-year-old lady with advanced dementia, severe sight impairment, significant hearing loss and profound short-term memory loss.

She requires continuous one-to-one support and reassurance to keep her happy, safe and secure in her own home. We are looking for a calm, patient and dependable carer with good judgement, a warm personality and a sense of humour. The successful applicant must be confident in managing day-to-day personal care and the changing needs and behaviours associated with advanced dementia.

Essential requirements:

• At least six months’ relevant, hands-on dementia care experience
• A full driving licence
• Clear spoken English
• The legal right to work in the UK
• A current enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable references

The position is available from September 2026.
