Job Description

Live-in carer wanted for 4 weeks to cover the usual carer's holiday. This may lead to regular employment 4 weeks on/4 weeks off in the future.

You will be looking after my mother, Marise, who is 89 and has mild dementia and is frail. 

The role is a companion and housekeeper as she has few personal care needs but she will need help to shower and prompting to use her walking and take her medication.

Outdoors Marise needs assistance to avoid falls and uses a wheelchair when shopping. The applicant should have a full driver's licence. She likes to go out and a car with insurance is provided. She enjoys shopping or seeing friends for lunch and going to church. Marise loves her food and the applicant should be able to cook healthy tasty meals. This is a daytime role but live-in in case of night-time emergencies which are rare.
