Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Carer with Kirsten’s Care Ltd

As a Live-In Carer, you will be living with our clients, some of whom live alone or may live as a couple, to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion and carer, but also to help them remain as independent in their own home as possible throughout your placement with them.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):-

• Providing personal care,
• Administering medication,
• Moving and handling, using equipment where required and you are trained to do so,
• Promoting the health and well-being of our clients, enabling them to live their life to the full.
• Household chores
• Meal preparation
• Shopping and Medication collections
• Social Outings and appointment chaperone
• Providing companionship and stimulation

Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Assistant Role

You will need to have:

• Live-in care experience or a minimum of 1 year's care experience in another setting
• Up to date training certificates or a willingness to undertake training
• Current transferable DBS on the Update Service
• Be fluent in English
• A Willingness to take a PCR COVID test weekly while on placement
