Do you have Live-in/Home Care experience and can drive? If so, Nightingale Services wants you!

We are currently looking for live-in care staff to care for and look after a client in the Milton Keynes area. This role will be living in the home of the client and providing support, 7 days a week.

The position I have is full time and it’s to look after a very young gentleman who has Friedreich Ataxia and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, he is wheel chair bound, uses a celling hoist, he has to have all personal care as well as medication including insulin of which the mother will teach. He also needs to be fed.
He is verbal speaking and has full capacity as well as a good sense of humor.
All other basic things needed i.e., Cleaning, cooking , taking him out when the weather is good.
2 Hr. break a day as well as extra when the family are around, The position is In Milton Keynes, You will have your own room as well as WIFI.

2 weeks on 2 weeks off 

You will get breaks and will be provided with your own room to sleep and relax in. This role is for a minimum of 2 months to be extended if possible. Leave periods will be arranged so that you are getting time off for yourself.

We are looking for an experienced Live-in Carer and a caring person.

Your role as a Live-in Carer is as the follows:

• Personal care including showering, toileting and grooming.
• Medication administration
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Cleaning and tidying to keep the home free from infection
• Social activities including shopping, hospital appointments and more.
