Job Description

Experienced live in Carer required for rotating two week live in duty in South Bristol (BS39 Postcode area).

Employed role £650 Per Week (PAYE), plus holiday pay

The Job

This role is to support “S”, a 50-year-old man Living in his own home with his wife, It will be your responsibility to offer one-to-one daily support to “S” in a variety of ways.

You will prepare meals for ”S”, assist with personal care, mobility and the everyday household chores that he may find difficulty with such as cleaning, laundry and shopping. You will also actively participate in active rehabilitation, including hydrotherapy and pool based rehabilitation.

“S” has a keen interest in engineering and outdoor activities which he plans to continue.

Who is “S” looking for?

A carer with a minimum of one years’ Live in experience, friendly, flexible and fluent in English, you’ll have first-class communication and listening skills.

“S” would like to be supported by someone who has a positive approach to supported living and most important to “S” when asked, was that the successful applicant …” Need’s to be understanding, FUN and reliable with a good sense of humour”

Other information

This is an employed position so you will also benefit from holiday pay

         The role will be on a rota basis of two weeks on duty followed by two weeks off with one other carer.

The living accommodation for the carer is a private bedroom with bathroom facilities on a separate floor of the property.

We also offer 24 hour on call support to ensure you can always speak to someone.

This role is only open to carers with a minimum of one years’ experience in live in care. Without exception.

This role requires the carer to have a full driving licence and to be able to confidently drive a automatic van (Mercedes Sprinter)
