Holiday Cover (12 Days):

• Full-time, live-in position for 12 days (12th - 23rd May 2026)

We are seeking a kind, patient, and experienced live-in carer to support an elderly woman living with Parkinson’s disease. The role is to cover holidays and days off of the primary carer. It is a LIVE-IN role and involves providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities to help maintain independence, comfort, and dignity in her own home.

The ideal candidate will be calm, reliable, and have a genuine passion for caring for others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care (assisting with washing, dressing, mobility, and toileting).
• Support with medication management as directed.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals — all meals are provided
• Assist with light household duties (laundry, tidying, etc.)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Accompany to medical appointments, social activities, and errands — car and full UK driving licence would be beneficial (but it is not essential)
• Monitor health and report any changes or concerns promptly

Requirements:

• Previous experience caring for individuals with Parkinson’s or similar conditions preferred.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own car would be preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature
• Good communication skills
• Enhanced DBS check required
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Able to provide recent, checkable references
• Person must be self-employed or a freelancer
