Job Description

Our private family is seeking a live-in carer/companion at their family home in St Johns Wood London Ready to start immediately! 

The ideal candidate will speak English, Hindi, Konkani or Punjabi 
 
This is a semi-formal household who requires help for their (adult) disabled daughter. The ideal candidate will be kind, hands-on, confident with caring/companionship duties, the family have a regular cleaner, however your help in housekeeping will also be required. Forming part of this role will also be some travelling with the family for short holidays. 

Accommodation; 
Own room with en-suite - please be advised that there will be times when you may need to sleep in the same room as the client that you are caring for. 

Working days and days off will be agreed with the client
Salary; £600.00 net per week

The following will not be required 
No cooking 
No driving 
 
Essential for the role;
"    Full DBS Report
"    Carer Qualification and certificates in place 
"    First Aid trained 
"    Must speak and understand a very good level of English
"    Experience within a similar field
"    Be a supportive person
"    Possess a discreet, proactive, mature nature, able to use own initiative to hit the ground running.

Day to day Carer/Companion responsibilities (but not limited to);

"    Assist with day-to-day care including (personal care, bathing, showering)
"    Administering of medication if necessary (family will go through what is currently being prescribed) 
"    Be aware of sudden emergencies, confident to report to paramedics/Dr/family members
"    A confident companion happy to get involved in arts and crafts, going for walks, day trips, lunch etc..
"    Housekeeping
