Job Description

Eximius refined live-in care are seeking an experienced live-in carer to support a gentleman who is paralised and  in the Reading area.

• The work would be on a rota of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off.
• Carers must have a minimum of 2 years live-in care and extensive knowledge of Spinal cord injuries
• They will also need to be proficient in hoisting.

The purpose of this role is to provide and care and support in the client’s own home, to manage their daily activities, medication, supporting with housework, administration and care duties as identified by the clients care plan, as well as being patient and understanding. They will also need to keep accurate records and detailed reports daily.

What we need from you: 

• A minimum of 2 years’ live-in experience within a care setting, either for a family member or on a professional basis.
• Genuine, kind, patient, compassionate, caring nature  
• Reliable and committed to making a difference 'every day' to our clients.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and fluent English
