Mumby’s Homecare Support are a family run care business who have been operating for 17 years. We provide live in care across the UK and are constantly recruiting to find the very best live in carers.

Recently we have been rated Outstanding by Care Quality Commission and also have been awarded the Employer of the Year Award at the Thames Valley Business & Community Awards.

We offer 24/7 support from dedicated care managers, flexible work patterns to suit your lifestyle, ongoing training and development as well as very competitive rates of pay.

•             We cover Oxfordshire and Berkshire area

•             We offer unpaid one week induction training and during that time we will pay for your accommodation and lunch

•             Our clients have a varied conditions, mainly Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, but also people who are in bed all day and need help hoisting.

•             Pay is determined by the care needs of the client not by carers skill level.

•             Pay is a daily rate which includes breaks. We have 3 different rates depending on the client needs: £85 per day (£595 per week); £92 per day (£644 per week); £99 per day (£693 per week) subject to tax and NiNo contributions.

•             Carers are entitled to £40 towards travel to get to the client;

•             Weekly food allowance of £35

We do not guarantee work after induction training. However we want you to work as soon as possible after training so that we can observe you in the workplace. Providing that you are successful at the end of the Induction Week, Care Management will do their best to provide you a work placement with one of our clients; please note that work in the Care Industry can never be guaranteed due to the rapid rate that care requirements of clients can change. However, we will do our absolute best to find you employment. We do advise all attendees to be prepared to either go to a work placement at the end of the week, but also have provisions in place in case they need to go home until a client/placement is appointed.
