Job Description

Home Care Preferred, an award-winning, London based, Care agency, are recruiting for Live-in Carers for clients living in North London and the surrounding areas.

Candidates must be patient, understanding and passionate about helping our clients live an independent life in their own homes, providing excellent support, care and companionship. You are likely to have some experience in supporting the elderly which may have been gained during your career or by caring for a family member.  

Ideally, you would stay with your client for about 8 weeks at a time and whilst not essential, applicants who are able to work over the Christmas period are very welcome!

• Free training (Care Certificate)
• Continuous professional development – further training in Health & Social Care as desired/required
• Free board and accommodation
• Opportunity to earn in excess of £2000 per month with no outgoings!
• PAYE or Self-Employed status
• Pension and paid holiday for PAYE

The ideal applicant will:

• Have  experience of supporting the elderly – either a family member or as paid work, especially Dementia care
• Be patient, kind, understanding and passionate about helping our clients live an independent life in their own home.
• Have excellent references and be eligible for a clear DBS (Criminal Record) check
• Right to work in the UK and a high standard of spoken and written English
• Hold a clean driving licence (no need to own a car, client provides one if required)
