Job Description

Our Carers are instrumental in delivering suberb homecare services to people living in the local areas of Hayes, Houslow and Hillingdon. They help our clients to live safely in their own homes where they feel most comfortable.

Tezlom is now recruiting Live in Carers

Our carers benefit from having a genuine supportive branch team who offer advice and a listening ear as well as ongoing training and development.

As a Live-in Carer, you will be living with your client 24 hours a day. The duration of each placement can vary. How long a placement lasts will depend on how Live in Care work fits around your lifestyle.

The most crucial aspect of Live in Care work is getting to know your clients and spending quality time with them and being able to provide personalised care and support. Live in Carers will able to anticipate the needs of their clients and observe and report changes in their health and well-being.

As a Live in Carer you will need to be prepared to engage positively with your Client's network of support including their friends and family, G.Ps and other primary and specialist health care professionals.

As a Live in Carer your duties may include:

* Assisting with personal hygiene

* Preparing food and drinks

* Bathing

* Ordering medication and supporting clients to take their medication

* Shopping

* Organising social and leisure activities

* General housekeeping

* Attending health appointments with your client

* looking after pets in the property

* Monitoring and quickly communicating significant changes to physical and mental health

Tezlom offers Live in Carers

* Induction training for New Starters

* £900-£950 per week

* Weekly pay

* Out of hours support any time of the day

We are looking for

* Pro-active and Passionate people

* Empathetic and caring

* Someone who enjoys building and managing relationships with the people they care for

* An adaptable, flexible and professional approach

* An ability to follow instructions and care plans

* A good level of English, both verbally and in writing

* Creative problem- solvers who can think outside of the box

* Right to work documentation

* Ideally you are a Driver with a valid driver’s licence

We are looking for people who have previously worked in a care setting or people who have experience of working in the service/ retail industry and who are able to transfer their customer service skills to benefit the people we support.
