We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced Live-In Carer to support a gentleman living with dementia in Taunton, Somerset.

Start Date: 7^th April until 5^th May  Potential ongoing dates: 15^th – 29^th June, 3^rd Aug - TBC
 

Ongoing dates potentially available for the right carer who can offer companionship, structure, and daily assistance for the client who is a wheelchair user.

🧑‍🦳 About the Client:

• Male client, living with dementia

• Wheelchair user

• Catheter care required

• He enjoys TV and has a passion for cars

• Enjoys peaceful surroundings and consistent support

🩺 Role Includes:

• Providing daily care, encouragement, and emotional support

• Assisting with mobility and promoting independence

• Delivering high-quality dementia care with patience and understanding

• Being a reliable and consistent presence in the home

• Engaging in conversation and daily companionship

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in dementia care (essential)

• Good moving and handling experience (essential)

• A driver is preferred, but not essential

• Minimum 2 years’ live-in care experience

• Someone calm, compassionate, and committed to care

• Ability to assist with healthy meal preparation

• A professional live-in carer who values meaningful connection and continuity
