Job Description

Heydays Care & Support Services are looking for Live-in carers to join our team. We are a private domiciliary care agency based in Cumbria offering support to those that live in the Furness and South Lakes peninsula. After 12 years of delivering an outstanding service within the community, we are now venturing into live-in care to enable our clients and others to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

What we are looking for is compassionate individuals to join our already amazing team. The role includes personal care tasks, medication prompts, light household duties, meal preparation and assisting clients to access the community to live a fulfilling life.

Some of our clients enjoy gardening or visiting local garden centres, tasting the delights at local eateries and socialising with family and friends. We are looking for caring individuals who will fit into family life and help the client feel at ease. Driving is not essential as we have good train links close by. Candidates will need to be willing to receive ongoing training and have a passion for working with others.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with older adults and preferably experience with Dementia care.
