Guardian Live In Care is a small, family-owned business in Aberdeen, providing tailored services across Aberdeenshire and Tayside. We are passionate about ensuring our customers receive the highest standards of care companionship. Our staff team are professional, agile and supportive.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Care Companion to provide live-in care for our elderly client. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing companionship and emotional support, helping with daily activities, light housekeeping, and providing transportation to medical appointments. The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our client.

The main duties of the role will include:

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Provide assistance with errands, such as grocery shopping and doctor’s appointments.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, if needed.
• Monitor changes in client’s condition and report any changes to the appropriate person.
