Job Description

Salary - £650-£750 per week + Food + Accommodation

Locations: Nationwide (if you prefer to stick to a specific area please let us know)

Whether you have previous Care industry experience or have helped care for elderly family and friends, consider joining our growing team of Live-In Care Assistants.

Typical working patterns are 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off however this can be adjusted in line with your availability.

We provide full training, support and opportunities to our amazing Live-in Care Assistants.

The role of a Live-in Care Assistant is similar to other care roles with one notable exception, you are not a visitor, but a key part of the household.

Being a Live-in Care Assistant offers a real sense of purpose and immense job satisfaction. You will enjoy the special privilege of living in a customer's home. You will use your excellent communication skills to build unique relationships with people from all walks of life; with different backgrounds and needs, lifestyles and personalities, and cultures.

Live-in Care Assistants also provide respite for customers who have been in hospital or deteriorated slightly and feel they need Live-In support for a short period until they recover.

The tasks a Live-in Care Assistant will undertake:

• Assisting customers with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, bathing and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linen.
• Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, re-positioning and movement of customers.
• Accompany customers to medical appointments, shopping trips etc.
• Observe, monitor and record clients physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to the office.
• Encourage customers to be independent.
• Support with medication.
• Assisting customers with meal preparation/fluids.
• Support customers with social activities, also companionship.
