Live-In Care Assistant – Romanian Speaking Preferred

We are currently recruiting for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Live-In Care Assistant to provide dedicated one-to-one support to a wheelchair-dependent client.

The ideal candidate will be Romanian speaking, although applicants who speak Polish or Bulgarian will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing personalised one-to-one care and support within the client's home.

*

Assisting with mobility, transfers and hoisting.

*

Supporting with personal care, hygiene and daily living activities.

*

Assisting with medication and general care needs.

*

Preparing basic meals and supporting nutritional needs.

*

Promoting the client's independence, dignity and wellbeing.

*

Providing companionship and emotional support.

Essential Requirements:

*

Previous experience working as a Care Assistant or Support Worker.

*

Experience supporting wheelchair-dependent clients.

*

Confident and competent in using hoists and moving and handling equipment.

*

Romanian language skills preferred; Polish or Bulgarian speakers also considered.

*

Minimum height of 168cm, specified in relation to the client's mobility and hoisting requirements.

*

A caring, patient and professional approach.

*

Enhanced DBS required.
