Job Description

We are currently looking for a Live-In Care Assistant to start the first week of September on rotation of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

The post is based in Strood, Kent.

The ideal candidate must have experience working with dementia and have exceptional patience with others.

Working as a live-in carer is an opportunity to help people live independent fulfilling lives, helping them remain in their own home when they may not be able to look after themselves.

The role includes but is not limited to; personal hygiene care, assisting with toileting, cooking meals, household duties and assisting with medication.

Most importantly, as a live-in carer, you are there to offer your client companionship, so they have stimulation, someone to talk to, someone to play cards with, or just the knowledge that there is someone else there.

There is currently no end date to the position. This is a PAYE position, and not self-employed.
