Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will be living with one of our customers or a couple to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, but also to help them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they’ve made there.


Your day-to-day activities might include:

· Providing personal care

· Administering or supporting with medication

· Assisting with moving and handling, using equipment where required

· Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full.

· Household chores

· Meal preparation

· Shopping

· Organising or supporting with social outings and other activities

· Providing companionship and emotional support


Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Assistant Role

Previous experience is a bonus but not a requirement. Live-in Care Assistants are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and you get along so the most important thing to us is that you are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if they were their own family.

· Support from the office team including regular supervisions, and in-field support - we're always at the end of the phone!
