Job Overview

We are seeking an urgent, compassionate, and experienced female live-in carer for a one-week placement in Ferndown starting this Wednesday. The role requires specialised support for a client living with dementia. You will reside in the client's home to provide a safe, reassuring, and structured environment during this period.

Key Responsibilities

• Dementia Support: Provide specialised patient care tailored to dementia needs, ensuring a calm environment.
• Personal Care: Assist with sensitive daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Medication Support: Prompt and manage daily medication schedules accurately.
• Meal Preparation: Cook fresh, nutritious meals and encourage hydration.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean living space, managing laundry and light cleaning.
• Companionship: Offer continuous emotional support, reassurance, and engagement to reduce anxiety.

Requirements

• Gender: Female carer.
• Dementia Care: Essential experience supporting clients living with dementia.
• Care Experience: Previous live-in care experience is highly preferred.
