Job Description

We are looking for a female carer to help a 27 year old lady live independently in beautiful Henley on Thames, which is 30 miles outside London. She has Cerebral Palsy which affects her balance. She has poor balance in the lower part of her body so is in a wheelchair so she needs help transferring for whatever that might be. So it might be to go into the car or use the toilet or shower. She doesn't use a hoist.

She has a degree in digital media, and she is currently applying for jobs with the BBC and other broadcasting companies.  She enjoys swimming, theatre, cinema, shopping and is active with a hospital radio in Oxford. She is generally quite active. She wants a carer to be like a flat mate, someone who is around when needed to be a friend but also someone who is happy to get on with their own thing a lot of the time. Because of this she would like to find a carer close to her own age.

She also has a dog who's a labradoodle called Bella who's 5 so helping with the dog would be part of the role. So the carer would need to be comfortable with dogs.

The only other thing is that she's asked for a non-smoker. 

The pay is £665 a week to cover everything (food and travel come out of this amount)
