Job Description

Looking for a compassionate, experienced fun, female carer to provide dedicated support to my vibrant mother, who is 81 years old and living with advanced dementia and sciatica. Despite her challenges, Mum still enjoys moments of joy and engagement. We're seeking someone who can match her spirit and contribute to her overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and spend quality time together.

•    Social Visits: Accompany Mum to see her friends and ensure she stays connected.

•    Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, and provide necessary continence support.

•    Mobility Assistance: Aid Mum in moving around the home, utilizing wheelchairs or other aids as needed.

•    Medication Management: Follow the care plan diligently, including proper administration and record-keeping.

•    Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals to suit her dietary needs and preferences.

•    Errands and Tasks: Help with shopping, collecting prescriptions, and managing weekly necessities.

•    Wellbeing Support: Arrange and accompany her to health and beauty appointments for relaxation and self-care.

•    Household Chores: Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a comfortable living environment.

This role involves living in for up to 7 days at a time, with a week on, week off schedule. Accommodation will be provided in a separate bedroom.

Requirements:

•    Female Candidates Only

•    Valid Driving License and Car with Business Insurance

•    Minimum 2 Years of Dementia Care Experience

•    Two References Required (one from current and previous employer)

•    Proof of Eligibility to Work in the UK

•    Non-Smoker
