Are you an experienced carer looking for active, meaningful live-in care work with a specialist provider?

Paragon Home Healthcare supports clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, acquired brain injury and complex physical disabilities.

Our clients are often active, social and engaged in daily life, so we are looking for carers who are energetic, enthusiastic, reliable and confident.

This is not rushed pop-in care. You will support one client at a time, build a proper working relationship and be supported by an experienced nurse-led team.

You do not need to have worked in spinal injury care before. If you are an experienced carer with the right attitude, confidence and professionalism, we can train and support you to develop specialist skills.

Current pay

Our current live-in care roles pay £139.81 – £163.90 per day, depending on the placement, client needs, location and role requirements.

A £7 per day food allowance may also apply, depending on the role.

You may also be eligible for our £400 bonus, made up of £150 for paid training in your first paycheck and a further £250 joining bonus after successfully completing probation.

The type of work

Our live-in roles may include:

Personal care
Moving and handling
Medication support
Bowel, bladder or catheter care
Supporting appointments and community access
Driving or travel support
Supporting active clients with daily routines
Supporting clients with spinal cord injury, neurological conditions or complex physical disability

Drivers are often needed, so please tell us if you hold a full UK driving licence and are confident driving in the UK.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for experienced carers who are:

Warm, friendly and professional
Energetic and enthusiastic
Reliable and flexible
Confident working in a client’s home
Good communicators
Able to follow detailed care plans
Interested in active, meaningful live-in care
Able to travel reliably to live-in placements

Previous live-in care experience is ideal, but we are also interested in experienced carers who are ready to move into live-in work.

Right to work and live-in patterns

Our live-in placements are usually worked in blocks, often around 2 – 4 weeks on placement followed by time off, depending on the client, rota and package requirements.

This can work well for experienced carers who are able to travel for blocks of live-in work, as long as you can reliably attend placements and already have the right to work in the UK.

You must have the right to work in the UK in a way that allows you to work full-time live-in placements without working-hour restrictions.

Paragon is unable to offer visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who can evidence ongoing UK right to work, for example through a British or Irish passport, settled or pre-settled status, indefinite leave to remain, refugee/protected status, or a valid eVisa/share code confirming suitable right to work.
