Job Description

Live-In Carer/Companion (who speaks both Gujarati and English) for a late 70s lovely lady in North London who has late-stage Dementia and ALS (motor neurone). Living alongside the lady's family in a lovely home, sharing a room with the lady. 

The ability to understand the “Gujarati” language, together with English, is essential.  You would cover 5 days a week and be flexible. Shifts will be 12-14 hours, but with downtime during the day (2 hours) when the lady naps or is watching TV.  As well as the obvious caring skills, you will have experience with dementia, and have empathy and patience.  

Duties include personal care/cleaning/general housekeeping/cooking, as well as companionship.

We would consider candidates with a background in Nursing or Dementia experience.
