Job Description

We are currently seeking a Live In Personal Assistant to work on a two week on, two week off basis, with our client living in Ascot.

Our client is a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury, our client is also deaf therefore, it is a requirement to be fluent in British Sign Language. This is a live in package where staff stay for two weeks at a time, this opportunity involves supporting with all aspects of the clients daily life, ensuring attendance of commitments, social occasions and appointments, promoting independence and assisting the client to live safely in their own home.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Someone who likes to instigate fun, who is uplifting and has experience.
  • Someone who can communicate well with a fantastic sense of humour.
  • Someone who seeks to build meaningful, professional relationships with the client and other members of the team.
  • Someone who enjoys cooking, who likes to educate and teach whilst promoting independence.
  • Someone who has experience with adult tasks including running a home.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to fluently communicate in British Sign Language, and have a certificate to reflect this.
  • A full UK drivers licence with your access to your own vehicle.
  • A minimum of 3 months paid care experience including, prior experience supporting a client with an acquired brain injury.
  • Someone who is flexible with their availability and is willing to work two weeks consecutively.
