Job Description

A very experience male carer required to provide live in care and support to a man in his late 30's with a genetic disorder in his own home in a popular seaside town in the South Pembrokeshire County. The successful candidate would be roistered 1 week on and 1 week off. The successful candidate must have experience of working with people that are often irritable, have involuntary movements, poor coordination, reduced mobility, speech disorder and are at risk of choking.

Applicants will be required to provide health care as the client deteriorates and training will be provided when these conditions arise. Applicants will have use of own bedroom with TV for overnight sleeping and own bathroom facilities. Applicants must have access to their own car in order to support social activities within the locality and fuel expense will be reimbursed by the employer. Successful applicants will be required to attend a comprehensive induction, patient specific training and will receive ample shadowing before they start work. Excellent support provided by numerous health care professionals.

Rate of pay is £715.00 per week on a self-employed basis or £625.00 per week on an employed basis. Opportunity to work with a local, professional and dynamic home and nursing Care Company in Pembrokeshire.
