Job Description

Bluebird Care (Oxford) are looking for an experienced female live-in carer to assist with a lovely elderly female customer.

Our customer lives in rural Oxfordshire and requires support with meal preparation, personal care, general housekeeping and medication. The successful applicant would be required to work 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off on rotation. 

Due to the rural location, a car driver would be preferred to allow access to shops and local amenities.  

You will have a genuine caring and understanding nature and enjoy the company of others. At least two years previous live in care experience, with a full driving licence and the use of your own vehicle being preferable. Being Fluent in the English language is a must ( both written and spoken).  Good organisational skills and experience of running and upkeeping a home is a must.If you are a friendly, mature female with a positive personality, confidence in lone working and who can commit to work with an elderly customer in the Oxfordshire area, we would love to hear from you.

WHAT WE OFFER IN RETURN:
 
Salary: £560 upwards per week.
 
Accommodation during the induction training available if required subject to availability.
 
We understand that caring for other individuals is a highly responsible and demanding job, especially as a live-in carer. Our aim is to ensure that at all times our carers are 100% supported in their role. An assigned supervisor is available within office hours and the support of the on call senior team out of office hours including weekends.
 
Further training and development is available should you wish to further your knowledge and skills within the private care sector.
