Job Description

Rest Assured is looking for experienced live-in carers to offer support and companionship to clients in their own homes.

Over many years, we have worked hard to build an excellent reputation providing quality care to our lovely group of private clients in London, the South East and South West UK. 

Who we are:

As a Rest Assured carer, you will receive full professional training and ongoing support from our friendly team of co-ordinators.  We also offer training and development opportunities to our carers interested in further training (Diplomas in Health and Social Care).

Our 24 hour on-call service means that there is always someone available to call when you need help.

What we offer:

We offer competitive rates of pay (£450 - £550 per week) plus double pay on Bank Holidays, as well as 28 days paid holiday per annum. As an employee you will also receive contributions to our Pensions scheme. Whilst on assignment, you will receive free board and lodgings. Your travel costs to and from assignments will be paid for.

We run a ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme where you can earn extra money by referring other live-in carers to join us.

What we are looking for:

To join our team, you must be eligible to work in the UK, be 25 years of age and over, have excellent spoken and written English skills and be hardworking and friendly. A valid driver’s licence is a bonus, but not essential.

All applicants must be willing to undergo the appropriate screening, including checks with past employers and an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service. 

Your duties will include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, driving the client to appointments or outings, assistance with personal care, assistance with medication and offering general companionship. Every client is individual and therefore you must be willing to adapt to different lifestyles to ensure that the client you are working with can live an independent life.
