Job Description

Do you have a caring nature and want to help people maintain an independent life at home, if so, have you considered a role as a Live-in care worker?

We are currently recruiting in Sevenoaks area. You will be required to support our client to remain living independently in her own home.

Duties will include supporting with medication administration, domestic duties support, shopping, meal preparation and at times supporting our client to attend social events and work.

Essential: Car driver – manual licence

Preference is age 35 upwards

No strong accents as clients stroke means she struggles with heavy accents

A carer who has similar values to the clients and a positive outlook to life

A carer who enjoys helping people

A carer who is proactive, but gentle and considered in their approach

A carer who uses their initiative

Someone who will prioritise the client’s needs

Happy to leave Saturday 3pm and return Sunday 5pm

We are looking for carer's who meet the following criteria:

Clear DBS

Minimum 6 moths paid UK care experience

References over the last 5 years

Valid Documents (Passport, Driving License, NI number, 2 x Proof of Address)

Self-motivated and able to use own initiative

Able to work in an intense and structured environment to support with Physio Therapy and Hydro Therapy sessions throughout the week                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Benefits of the role include:

Full training will be provided: 2 days Mandatory training, E-Learning and Specialist training by a Nurse
