Job Description

Live-in Carer in central Cambridge to look after our elderly mother. She's suffered a stroke and is disabled, but she is a lovely lady and great company. She is not suffering dementia 

The role requires looking after her full-time: getting her up and dressed in the morning, ensuring she is comfortable during the day, and putting her to bed at night. She sleeps well and only requires night-time help on rare occasions. 

We have a cleaner who comes bi-weekly, so only basic housework is required. 

Our father also lives with our mother. He is able-bodied and will provide additional support and backup. However, he is quite old and unable to provide the primary care our mother needs. 

You will have a private room and bathroom on the top floor of the building. It's located in the heart of Cambridge, with a lovely view. You will also have limited use of the family car. You will be very comfortable here. 

Our ideal candidate will be a supportive lady with some experience in a similar care environment. 

You can have at least four hours off per week, but flexibility is important. In reality, you'll be able to have more time off than this, dependent upon current circumstances. Our parents will be very respectful of you and will want you to be happy during your time working for them. 

Salary is £500 per week. All board and food provided.
